UNDERGO RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT ... OFFENCE PUNISHABLE UNDER SECTION 376(2) OF IPC
AND SEC. 6 OF POCSO ACT. FURTHER, THE
APPELLANT/ACCUSED IS SENTENCED TO UNDERGO
RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT
offences punishable under Sections
376(2F) and 5 & 6 of POCSO Act, 2012. As the accused
pleaded not guilty ... found the accused guilty of the offence under Sections 5
and 6 of POCSO Act. However, the accused was

Indian Penal Code and Sections 6 and 17 of
POCSO Act.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that the

POCSO Act. Hence, the present appeal filed by the
State.

of his arrest, the petitioner
sections 5(m) , 5(l) read with section 6 of POCSO
Act.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the
