......Appellant / Opposite Party ... complainants purchased two Apollo tyres size 16x28 @
Rs. 22,500/- per tyre and one tube size 16x28 for Rs. 2,000/- for their JCB
from
toilet was
given. There was no perforation of
bowel. After keeping two tube drain the
abdomen was closed. The patient was kept
on continuous ventilators ... initially prescribed antibiotic Magnex which was thereafter changed at Apollo Hospital.
From 18.4.2002 the drainage tubes
continued pouring out thick pus, which had presence
already having femoral venous
access as the same were inserted by the Apollo Hospital.
9. Thereafter, the Blood Pressure of the patient started falling ... then informed the Complainants that the
patient will be needing Ryles Tube also known as Nasogastric Tube
(A nasogastric tube is a narrow-bore tube
little improvement
seen. However, the patient was not able to tolerate tube so extubation
was done and patient was transferred to ward.

but due to reluctance of patient same was not inserted. Complainant has
neither joined Hospitals (Indus / Apollo) nor examined doctors
through syringe through Ryle's tube and also the position of the Ryle's tube can be confirmed by doing ... Apollo Hospital in this case. He also further deposed that during the procedure there was unnoticed oesophageal perforation, the Ryle's tube has entered
patient was admitted to C.M.C. Hisar and thereafter to
Inderprasth Apollo
Hospital, New Delhi where he remained admitted ... referred to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital
on 23/10/06 for further management.
Patient was received in critical state with ET tube and C line
spot. They were told that the
Opposite Party/Hospital belonged to Apollo Group and it
had accident and emergency facilities in addition to other
trauma ... Parties misused the
name of Apollo Hospitals, it is replied that the Opposite
Parties had a tie-up with Apollo Hospitals and it is evident
midnight
in serious condition. She was admitted to Apollo
Hospital, Hyderabad and was discharged on 20-02-2007.
The discharge summary evidences that the first ... blood stained fluid with
gross bowel distension. She was kept on Ryles tube aspiration. The respondent
no.1 had seizure during postoperative stage
Tapan Saha,M.S and Dr. Asit Bhattacharya
inserted an intraperitoneal drainage tube through which accumulated bile was
drained. It is also admitted fact that ... fact that the appellant went to Chennai and
was treated there in Apollo hospital.

The learned advocate for
the appellant submitted that the instant
feeling uncomfortable and as suggested by the Apollo hospital for Angiogram
undergone coronary Angiogram at the Apollo hospital, Chennai on 13.2.2006 and
he had contacted ... opposite party in order to get the 2nd
opinion since the Apollo hospital reported symptom of Coronary Artery disease
class III Angina Triple Vessel disease
