from conducting private cattle shandy in the 5th respondent panchayat or any
other place in Pollachi Taluk ... permitted him to collect the Toll in Gandhi Weekly Market cattle
Shandy, with effect from 1.5.2018. While that being so, as directed by the first
Tittagudi Special Village Panchayat, Cuddalore District for conducting the
weekly cattle shandy for the year 2005-2006 dated 08.03.2005. The
petitioner is a successful bidder ... petitioner to collect charges between 1.4.2005 and 31.3.2006 from the

respondent is still conducting the cattle shandy. If it is so, it is open to the
petitioner herein to file
after considering the facts, held that the
appellant has been conducting cattle shandi in a private land without
obtaining any permission or requisite licence from ... been submitting several representations and only thereafter,
he has been conducting cattle shandi.
5. From the facts placed before us, it is clear that
being implemented at the cattle market at Gokavaram, where cattle
are being treated cruelly. Further, Shandy Level Marketing Committee is
non-functional. Neither ramps ... illegal Cattle Transportation, through letter No.47/T/JD(AH)/2018 dated
08-04-2019.
3. The maintenance of the Cattle Shandies is in purview
control stray dogs and pigs; (vi) Establishment and management of public cattle pounds; (vii) Preventive and remedial measures connected with any epidemics or communicable diseases ... animals; (x) Control of fairs, jataras and festivals; (xi) establishment of village shandies, markets. proceeding towards her fields to graze her cattle ... husband died instantaneously. On that evening, after the villagers

11. Though the place has been used as a 'shandy', necessity to
construct a bus stand and commercial complex, would certainly benefit ... circumstances, we only observe that respondents to
consider accommodating vending of cattle also.
