resign with effect from 3rd June, 2003 and so the
resignation would have become effective only on that
date. The other interpretation ... effectiveness and
resignation, if accepted, could have become effective
only on 30-6-86 and as the resignation was to be
effective with future date

other interpretation ... nature to withdraw it before the
effective date mentioned in the resignation as such
resignation comes into effect on the expiry of the date

appellant did not submit any unconditional
resignation and reiterated to consider her resignation dated
25.03.2003 with effect from the future date ... effective date of resignation was prospective, i.e.,
15.01.1993. The appellant therein withdrew the resignation before
the effective date on 08.01.1993. The Company refused
accept the resignation with immedi-
ate effect or with effect from such other date as the bank
may consider appropriate.
Dismissing the appeal,

that Shri Karam Singh had resigned with effect from January
31, 1990 vide his resignation letter of the said date and
