Fresh induction to the trades listed in (i) above shall
be from:-
(a) Semi skilled categories ... after passing the prescribed trade tets; and
(b) Direct recruits with ITI certificate/EX trade
Apprentices. NCTVT etc. inducted in the semi
skilled grade
grade and after passing the prescribed trade tests; and
(b) direct recruits with III certificate/Ex-trade
Apprentices/NCTVT etc. inducted in the semi-skilled
show that any trade secret as such was imparted to the employee by the employer.
(3) Protection of trade connections:
18. In the course ... apprentice would, by reason of his employment or training, obtain the skill and knowledge necessary to equip him as a possible competitor in the trade
having ITI/CCAA in the
specific trade, shall not be eligible to apply.
b) Graduate Act Apprentice will not be eligible to apply in
lieu ... Navy/Air Force. The Ex-serviceman candidate shall
however have to produce an Equivalency Certificate
stating that their Qualification/Trade has been equated
