Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate(FIRC) in respect of
payment received for the shipments(at least two shipments ... Bank(Punjab and
Sindh Bank) has not issued any FIRC of any of the exports Bills as
where was no practice to do so. However
documents against the said cheque proceeds to the OP along with original FIRC
with G.R.Form duly filled in before the Reserve Bank ... forgery of the cheque was detected subsequent to the issuance of FIRC by
the bank and no deficiency of service on the part
duly gave standing
instructions to the appellant/OP City Bank to issue FIRC whenever OP got the
payment. The complainant earlier faced
problems several times ... exported their goods mostly through air shipment and they never got FIRC
from the OP and OP never accepted the original documents without having FIRC
Para 11 of the
complainant. OP supposed to issue certificate (FIRC) immediately
so that overdraft a/c be credited immediately. Consequently,
complaint was filed
