freebie scheme till
Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) dated 01.08.2012 and held that freebies provided by pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic centres and others in medical business to doctors
Family Ration Cards, Voter Identity Cards and they are also recipients of freebies. It is further stated that since the site on which they
Ration Cards, Voters ID Card, Aadhar Cards and also the recipients of freebies scheme announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu and their superstructures have
also given the benefits of the Government in the form of freebies and therefore, prays for quashment of the impugned notices.

respondent can only be
characterised as wooden headed. The Government introduced
a freebie scheme for supplying colour television sets to the
families ... change of policy. The new
Government decided to not to continue the freebie scheme. It
therefore chose to discontinue further procurement. But then,
something must
with basic amenities/facilities and the petitioner is also a recipient of freebies schemes floated by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The petitioner would further
have been issued with Aadhar Cards, Ration Cards and also provided with freebies by the Government of Tamil Nadu and are residing for decades together
