4. The close scrutiny of the Apex Court
original petitioner himself, that showed that
the caste of the original petitioner was recorded as 'Halba Koshti' in 1968.
It is stated that ... stated that
since the original petitioner's own caste was recorded as 'Halba Koshti',
the Scrutiny Committee has rightly rejected his caste
records the sub-caste
Halbi of the caste Koshti is recorded as Halbi, which is
popularly known as Halba-Koshti. The Committee thereafter
has added ... respect of relatives of the candidate shown their caste as
Koshti and Halba-Koshti". Thus, the Scrutiny Committee itself
has found that
documents wherein caste was recorded as
"Koshti" and hence, the claim of the petitioner as belonging to "Halba"

Halba Scheduled
petitioner does
not belong to Halba Tribe community but he is Koshti which is not a
part of Halba Tribe. The petitioner's case ... status of Halba Tribe Community, whereas, he is only 'Koshti'
which is not Halba Tribe. He submits that the Caste Scrutiny
Committee
later cancelled on the ground that 'Halba
Koshti' was not the same as 'Halba' Scheduled
Tribe. The High Court ... Scheduled Tribe, the Caste
Scrutiny Committee invalidated the said
certificate holding that the respondent
was a Koshti and not a Halba. I must
