appellant that on
06.05.2021, the Court was closed due to imposition of lockdown in
pandemic control measures; and on 22.06.2021, the application was filed
seeking ... limitation by the Trial Court
without taking into consideration the period of lockdown was erroneous.
Reference was made to various decisions of this Court, including
appellant that due to the CovidĀ19 Pandemic, there was a

lockdown declared by the Government and therefore, there
was a complete closure/partial ... rental amount
for the period during which there was a
lockdown/complete closure/partial closure. Despite the
above submissions, the Arbitral Tribunal directed the
appellant
alternative, grant extension of one (1) months from lifting of
complete lockdown in the state of Tamil Nadu, to enable the
appellant to complete ... expired only on 24 August 2021.
10. Further, as stated above, the Lockdown in Tamil Nadu State pertaining
to the 2nd wave of Covid
demanding minimum charges,
both on maximum demand and energy in respect of
lockdown period.
