extension of leave by 90 days, which was allowed for 45 days LWOP
(Leave Without Pay) by the competent authority w.e.f. 16th August ... 30th September, 1992, Petitioner applied for a
further extension of 45 days LWOP, however, his request was not acceded
to as he had already availed
recovered for the
same. From 10.09.1999 to 31.12.2000 the applicant remained on
LWOP/AWOP for 135 days, from 01.01.2001 to 28.02.2002, the applicant
remained ... LWOP/AWOP for 67 days, from 01.03.2002 to 30.04.2003 the
applicant remained on LWOP/AWOP for 70 days, from 01.05.2003 to
31.05.2004 the applicant remained
period of absence from duty and also leave
without pay (in short LWOP) during her service.
b) On review of the applicant's Leave ... Maternity Leave from 11.12.1999 to
23.04.2000 and further continued on sanctioned LWOP from
24.04.2000 to 04.03.2001 (313 days). Since there was no entry of
Medical
leave half pay (LHAP), leave average pay (LAP) and leave
without pay (LWOP). Therefore, the learned single judge after taking
into consideration the aforesaid aspect ... period from 05.10.2015 to 31.08.2016, i.e., 308 days, was
treated as LWOP (leave without pay).
The learned Single Judge, in view of the aforesaid
dated 04.09.2013, hence, the period of absence from duty is treated as
LWOP. The applicant prayed that the period from September, 2013 to

unauthorized absent was rightly held to be LWOP on the principles of
