Counsel for the Respondents/Complainants on the other
bleeding started due to Uterine
inversion and it was a case of PPH and urgent Surgery was needed.
The appellant was referred to respondent ... correctly diagnose the
ailment i.e. a case of uterine inversion and PPH and immediately
after the delivery referred the appellant to respondent
hypotension and cardiac arrest as a result of PPH. The doctors at the hospital of the appellant subsequent
to the death of first respondents wife ... died at 5.30
a.m. due to irreversible shock due to PPH.
The doctors were cautious, alert and dutiful. The first respondent did not report
certificate issued by him with respect to the
complication as atonic secondary PPH.
It was pointed out from the evidence of Pw4 the Gynecologist ... that secondary PPH is the one occurring
after 24 hours of delivery. Admittedly Dw1 is a general physician. It is the contention of the complainant
