trade and to meet the requirement the Army
Headquarters accorded sanction for remustering of
personnel from those who were already serving in other
Arms/Services ... through
direct recruitment from civil in the rank of Havildar; and
remustering from other Arms/Services.
4. The policy provided an exception to the criteria
writ
petition that respondents No.7 to 23 are all remustered Airmen to Group I
allied trades direct from the lower groups and in their ... lower groups is counted for the purpose of further
promotions in the remustered trade. According to him, all these
remustered Airmen are junior
filed, seeking the following reliefs:
"i. A DECLARATION that the remustering of the
Applicant is only a conversion and not a financial
upgradation ... have been issued in the year 2000 only.
The applicant had been remustered into Cypher
category in 1986. It is therefore evident that these rules
petitioner does not succeed, his
case can be examined for a remustered trade.
17. The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms leaving the
parties
