Correctness of
meter
Should
the consumer dispute the accuracy of the meter, he may, upon giving
notice/complaint to that ... test results of the meter exceeds his contract demand.
Meter not recording
If
the meter is not recording/stuck as reported by the consumer
checking of the meter.
Checking
of the meter is done where the meter is running slow or fast, but where the
meter is burnt ... test results of the
meter exceeds his contract demand.
(ii) Meter not recording
(a)
If the meter is not recording/stuck as reported
submitted that there was a change of meter on 1-3-1990 as the meter was stuck up. There after the bill was issued ... Additional Assistant Engineer sent meter change slip along with the letter wherein it was stated as meter stuck up." But no record evidencing this
test results of the meter exceeds his contract demand.
(ii)

meter is not recording/stuck as reported ... this case regulation governing the meter
complaints and raising bills and replacement of meter which has been stuck or is
not recording correct reading
every six months.
20. Meter complaints.- (i) Correctness of meter-
