1. The question raised is whether for the drivers having licence to
drive light motor vehicles there is a necessity of obtaining endorsement ... provision is extracted hereinbelow :
“2(10) “driving licence" means the licence issued by a competent authority
under Chapter II authorising the person specified therein
because a
trailer was attached to the tractor and the tractor was used for carrying
goods, the licence to drive a tractor becomes ineffective ... there
for a permanent licence holder. Thus a permanent licence holder having a
effective/valid licence to drive a tractor can drive even when
that the appellant-company
was holding a valid industrial licence for the manufacture
of agricultural tractors and have an approved manufacturing
programme. The appellant cleared ... Auto Tractors Ltd. Pra-
tapgarh are holding an Industrial Licence to
manufacture Agricultural Tractors and have an
approved manufacturing programme. It is fur-
ther certified
tractor by Lala the
Deponent herewith. Whereas Kishan Gopal stated that Tikaram
fell down due to rash and negligent driving of tractor by which
tractor ... driving the tractor fast and negligently. Whereas
Babu stated that Lala was driving tractor rashly and
negligently because of which the tractor got turned down
respondent No. 1 that he was
not holding any driving licence to drive the tractor at
the time of alleged accident and in fact ... never
possessed any driving licence. Since the respondent
No. 1 was not holding any driving licence to drive the
tractor, so, in view
having valid driving licence for the
period from 11.2.1993 to 6.2.1996 and his
licence had expired and tractor driver was not
having valid driving licence ... appellant, would submit that although the driver of the tractor did not

hold any licence for the period 11.2.1993 to 6.2.1996, but having regard
further stand is that the policy holder had
got driving licence to drive Tractor Trailer
(Transport) but had no licence to drive
motorcycle with gear ... driving licence.
In this case it is an admitted fact that the
victim had licence to drive a tractor with
trailer, but the allegation
alleged accident, the driver of
Tractor was being driven the tractor in its side, but
deceased himself hit by driving motorcycle rash and
negligently, consequently ... accident, they opposite party No.1 was
driving the tractor with valid driving licence; that the

Tractor in question is insured
motors, tractors,
etc. But since he did not vacate the shed after the expiry
of the period he terminated the licence and filed the suit
appellants would
submit that although the licence held by the driver of the tractor expired on
27.08.1994, the same later on having been renewed ... vehicle, tractor, trailer
and transport vehicle. In claims for compensation
for accidents, various kinds of breaches with regard
to the conditions of driving licences arise
