amount directly, she took out a diary from her table drawer
and opened the same. She asked the appellant to keep the
currency ... diary. After closing the diary, the appellant kept
the same in her table drawer. She locked the table drawer
and kept
accepted
by the appellant and put it into the drawer of the table. As instructed earlier,
PW.1 conveyed signal. Getting the signal ... recovery of M.O.1 series from the drawer of
the table of the appellant. In support of the recovery of M.O.1 series
Appellant. The
Appellant, after counting those notes, kept the same over a table
and also kept some books over those notes. Thereafter, the
Appellant gave ... that date and time and he had
kept the same over the table. Those tainted currency notes were
got lifted up by the Appellant
accused, the complainant kept the tainted
currency notes on a table under table cloth. The shadow witness flashed
necessary signal to the raiding party ... told the DSP that the bribe money was lying on the aforesaid table

purchased furniture items such
as a Godrej almirah, Godrej table, full armchair, dining table,
and six chairs altogether worth ` 23,198/- from Bright Furniture
Mart ... office of the Corporation even now. They consisted of a
table, an arm chair, a dining table and six chairs . It
was A2 who wrote
currency notes in
the drawer of the left side table of A.O.2, which contains 24
notes. The serial numbers of the currency notes ... prosecution, but, the tainted amount was recovered from the
left side table drawer of A.O.2. Though the amount was
recovered from the custody
said amount was recovered from a diary, kept on the table of
the accused officer.

3. The facts in issue are as under :
There ... diary. According to the
learned Senior Counsel, diary was there on the table and
P.W.1, who reached the office prior to the arrival
series from beneath a file placed on her table and gave
the same to P.W.3 Chandrasekaran. Then P.W.3 and Mr.Ramasamy ... that the accused
received it and kept beneath the file on the table and she left stating that she
had to contact Sepoy Murugesan
accused person, firstly he kept the
amount on the table, then the accused took that
amount and kept it in the right side table drawer ... that where is the amount, accused took out the
amount from the table drawer and kept it on the table.
The photographs were taken about
quarters and
the appellant directed to place tainted currency notes on the table
and immediately thereafter PW1 came out of the room and signaled ... appellant himself had stated
that PW1 placed the tainted notes on the table from which the
appellant took and kept the same in the almirah
