they had administered poison to Harbans Singh by mixing
into tea and they should be produced before ... they had said that they had
administered poison to Harbans Singh by mixing
in the tea. Baljit Kaur and further disclosed
that she had illicit
that reason, she had administered poison to her minor
children.

Raman, deposed that he and Constable-II Balwant ... further

Report of Chemical Examiner established beyond doubt that victim died of
organo phosphorous compound poisoning. Accused had an opportunity to
administer that poison. Postmortem ... present case, no one had seen
the appellants while administering poisonous substance. Complainant party
remained silent presuming the defence version as correct one that Balwinder
colluded
with outsiders and caused death of Surender alias Bablu by
administering poison to him. He has further submitted that thereafter the
investigation was handed ... poisoning. Poison could
reach an inmate lodged in a jail in two situations. The first is that the
inmate received the poison himself from some
accused-appellant then nursed a mens rea to, through
either surreptitiously administering poison to the deceased or his
administering the same to her through application ... became exerted by the
accused upon the deceased, thus to forcibly administer poison to her.
Nonetheles the absence of the said external injuries, thus
never beaten her. They were not at fault. Accused
persons never administered poison to his sister Anjali. He was declared

beatings and thereafter administered poison by the appellants.
24. Their Lordships
Singh stated that Dharmender, attempted
to kill his daughter by administering poison as earlier also the appellant
had teased his daughter. The appellant was arrested ... that he
had raped the deceased and, on account of fear administered poison
to her. After she became unconscious, he threw her on the roof

Kaur asked him that either he should kill her by administering poisonous
substance or she will kill herself by consuming something ... poisonous. Till
morning Ramzan @ Guddu lived in their house. A suspicion was raised that
either her mother had consumed something poisonous or it was
administered
