Four) Age Limit:-
The candidate must have completed the age of 21
years but he/she must not complete 35 years of age ... informed that since he was over age, he cannot be
considered for appointment. The age relaxation which the Appellant was
looking at is only available
same deals with the subject of relaxation by way of
weightage percentage and relaxation of maximum age limit.
The original Rule was amended firstly ... general Rule. The general
Rule regarding the age limit and, in particular, age
relaxation is prescribed in Rule 4, but, that has been
circumscribed
Bench has correctly observed
that taking advantage of fee concession or age relaxation would not
be a bar for the reserved category candidates ... provided the minimum age for
recruitment as 21 years and the maximum age of 25 years on the
cut off date. Relaxation of age

28. The provisions of Section
State
Service in respect of which prescribed age limit
exceeds forty years, the age limit may be
relaxed to the extent of maximum five years ... shall be immaterial that he has availed any
facility or relaxation (like relaxation in age
limit) available to reserved category."
28. On consideration
learned counsel for petitioners to treat them
within age on the analogy that notification for age relaxation
of three years was issued prior ... grant of age relaxation under rule 46 applicable thereunder.
This is more so when power to relax the age does not lie with
the court
armed forces from their actual age and the resultant age, so
derived, should not exceed the prescribed age limit by more
than three years ... advertisements, and since the
petitioners were above said age, they availed the benefit of upper age
relaxation limit admissible to departmental candidates of Delhi Police
Rules 1997 wherein relaxation
of ten years is available to women candidates in addition to other
relaxation in age. The Division Bench has held that ... down provision
relating to age of the candidates. Though, the minimum of age of 21 years
and maximum of age 30 years as on first

1.4.2004) should not exceed 35 years. It further provided :
"Age is relaxable for employees ... service rendered
