doctors replied by saying that due to excess dose of anesthesia, some
problems had arisen, but there was no need to worry inasmuch ... have regained
sense within an hour of surgery from the influence of anesthesia. The
complainant also observed that due to negligence, on the part
skin specialist and has undergone
training for administering anesthesia in Medical
College Thiruvananthapuram, tried to give spinal
anesthesia. However, it is to be noted that ... surgery
was carried out after giving local anesthesia. Around 6
p.m., after the operation, the deceased complained to
one Dr. Narayanan that
necessary instruments, emergency medicines and full supply
of oxygen were available. Spinal anesthesia was chosen, and
the prescribed procedure of anesthesia was followed. The
patient ... carry out their procedures under my instructions and
supervision. This operation required anesthesia. I had taken the
services of Dr. R.J. Agrawal from Palanpur
negligence on
the part of the doctors who conducted surgery and administered
anesthesia as well as the nurses who assisted them. Later
Punalur Police reregistered ... procedure, and the accused No.1 is the doctor
who administered anesthesia. The accused Nos.4 to 6 are the
nurses who assisted accused

25.9.2005 and the operation commenced under general
anesthesia on 27.9.2005. Within 30 minutes of commencement
