informed that the complainant apart from
Retinitis Pigmentosa he was also having cataract in both the eyes, for which the
opposite parties have suggested surgery ... diagnosed the eye vision and did wrong operation as if
he had cataract and implanted intraocular lenses. After the operation there was
complete loss
existence of the policy, his wife
Sumitraben was operated for left eye cataract. The operation was
carried out on 15.05.2017 in the Raghudeep Eye Hospital ... requested the insurance
company to pay rest of the amount towards the cataract operation.
The said request was not replied. The complainant gave the notice
eyes checked up and thereafter, advised
him go for cataract surgery on the left eye; that on 25.4.2017, as
per the advise of opposite party ... paid Rs.5000/- as an
advance and obtained receipt; that on 29.4.2017 cataract surgery
was performed on his left eye, but vision was lost completely
