factum of adoption was
not proved with cogent evidence-
a. Non-production of negatives of alleged photographs
taken during the adoption ceremony.
b. That ... said ceremony. Said ceremony was held with the desire
and consent of Sundarabai and Govardhandas. After the
appellant was given in adoption to Govardhandas,

concerned. As far as testimony of PW-3 is concerned he claims to have

of adoption and its validity has to be duly proved and formal
ceremony of giving and taking is an essential
record
including the so called adoption deed dated
28.7.1993 does not contain the particular date on
which the adoption ceremonies are said to have
been ... performed. The deed of adoption was
executed and got registered after 23 years.
