herein, as a Public
Charitable Trust, by a Deed of Declaration of Trust dated 30th January, 1996,
to further the object of advancement of Pranic ... whose objects and purposes are similar to those of this Trust.

10. The Trustees shall hold the properties of the Trust for the
objects stated
trustees of the assessee. The object
of the society was charitable and similar to the objects of the assessee
trust. The assessee provided the funds ... objects pursued by the assessee
fall within the said definition. Even if the objects of a trust satisfies the
definition of "charitable purpose
stated that the
means and objects, for which the Trusts were set up, were clearly charitable. Learned
counsel also relied upon the minutes ... clearly showed that the
said Trust was granted land on the basis of its aims and objectives which were
charitable and to provide treatment
Charitable
Trust (1993) 199 ITR 819 (Cal) on the ground that in the said case, the
charitable trust had as many as 18 objectives ... objects as far as its trust deed, a copy of which
has been placed on record, is concerned. The trust
deed requires the trust
applied in accordance with the objects of the Centre.
Thus the order affirms and accepts that the objects were charitable and in
categorical and positive ... income derived from the property held under trust was
