In Madras and southern Maharattah Railway v. Chegali Sydalli, it was held that the exemption for the provident Fund covered under section 60 (1) proviso (k) cannot be waived. We have already noticed that the karnataka High Court took the view that the protection given to the agriculturist under Cl. (C) cannot be waived.
