Yusuf Ali AIR 1987 Patna 102 Full Bench" that "an un­registered document agreeing to exchange an immovable property would not vest any title or effect the same in the said property".

The main point of controversy in the present suit is that plaintiff claims herself to be the owner of the plot bearing plot No. 6 & 7A area measuring 46 sq. yards out of khasra No. 18/21 situated in the area of village Hastsal Colony known as Vikas Nagar, B­Block, Hastsal, New Delhi­110059 whereas the defendants submits that they are the owners of the said property. In order to show their title, defendants have placed on record the photocopy of GPA, affidavit, agreement to sell dated 07.04.1998. Firstly, the said documents are merely a photocopies and secondly, they are merely notarized and not registered. It has been held in the case of "Ashutosh Saha vs. Mohd. Yusuf Ali AIR 1987 Patna 102 Full Bench" that "an un­registered document agreeing to exchange an immovable property would not vest any title or effect the same in the said property".
