"3. Having heard the learned counsel for the applicant I
am of the opinion that the revision is devoid of merits. As
regards the case of Shambhunath Bhattacharjee v. State of
Sikkim, 1980 Cri LJ 789 (Sikkim) no doubt in that case it
was held that the accused has got a right to cross-
examine the prosecution witnesses through a counsel of
his choice. But it was not a blanket proposition that
adjournment should be granted to the accused on account
of the absence of a lawyer of his choice.
