The Commission accordingly on the opinion of the
Expert Committee decided to cancel the five questions out of 150
questions, and changed answers of the 09 questions from the question
booklets which were present in the given options. On the basis of such
rectified answer key the answer sheets were re-valued and rectified results
were declared on 5.2.2007. The petitioners did not qualify in the rectified

result. A Writ Petition No. 9685/2007 Riyaz Khan and others vs. State of
UP and others was filed and was finally disposed of on 15.1.2008 directing
the Commission to re-examine the averments made in the paragraphs of the
petition, in case the result is likely to be changed. By the same judgment
this Court did not find any good ground to interfere with the criteria
adopted by the Commission to give marks after correcting the answer key.
