15. He further contended that there is no evidence to
establish that the accused were in the conscious possession
of the contraband. No specific question to this affect has
been put to the accused in their statements recorded under
Section 313 Cr.P.C. In the absence thereof even the
conscious possession of the contraband by the appellants is
