In Dr Deepika Veerwal (supra), this Court was dealing with a issue very similar to the present case. In the said case, the petitioners, who were otherwise successful candidates, were denied participation in counselling for sponsored DNB seats, after appearing in the NEET PG 2019 exam as the 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) submitted by them did not bear the official seal with name and designation of the authority issuing the NOC. The learned Single Judge held that the alleged defects in the NOC were of trivial nature and hence, the petitioner could not have been denied admission.
