12.4 In K.S.R.T.C. and Anr. v. Sundari and Anr., 1981(2) Kar. L.J. 349 (DB) a Division Bench of this Court held that line allowance and night cut allowance paid by KSRTC to its drivers, was a privilege or benefit which is capable of being estimated in money and therefore a part of 'wages' under Section 2(1)(m).
