Gadkari) dated 24th October, 2018, wherein, the Hon'ble Division Bench took into consideration the challenge to the amended Section 18A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No.1015 of 2018 (Prathvi Raj Chauhan vs. Union of India), in which it is stated that show cause notices have been issued to the respondents therein. It has been stated in the said order that the matter was likely to be heard on 1/2 ::: Uploaded on - 15/12/2018 ::: Downloaded on - 27/12/2018 06:46:03 ::: (903)apeal-1147-18.doc 20th November, 2018 and accordingly this Court directed the Investigating Officer to proceed with the investigation, however not to take coercive action against the appellant till the next date.
