1.4 In view of the order of the Hon'ble Gauhati High
Court dated 12/3/2021 passed in WP(C) No.3341/2019

writ petitions, the Commission had a threadbare
discussion on the probable consequence/impact of the
decision vide Minutes of the Meeting dated 30/4/2019
on its subsequent functioning in fair and transparent
manner. The Commission after threadbare discussion
unanimously came to a conclusion that the Commission
took the decision in its minutes dated 30.4.2019
allowing 98 candidates to appear in the CCE (M), 2018
by taking the same as one off special case considering
that there was no fault on the part of those 98
candidates who were declared to have qualified under
the pre-revised answer keys.
