11. The learned counsel has also stated that the issue of jurisdiction in a
case of similar circumstances has been dealt with by the Hon'ble Gauhati High
Court which is reflected in the case of Maya Rani Ghosh v. State of Tripura
& Ors, reported in 2007 SCC OnLine Gau 7, para 46 which reads as
