Further, the properties situated in the same area had a
value not less that Rs.50,000/- per sq.yd. The petitioners are also
entitled to the damages @ Rs.2,00,00,000/- on account of loss of
business and shifting of machineries and interest on solatium in
terms of judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in
'Sundar vs. UOI'. Further, if the said land was not acquired and
developed and used for commercial purposes, its value would not
be less than Rs.1,00,000/- per sq.yd. The acquired land was
surrounded by all the civic amenities and connected to ring road,
outer ring road and national highway and it did not require any
further development at the time of its acquisition, therefore, no
development cost is liable to be deducted.
