2. A suit for partition came to be filed in respect of the assets of Late
Mohd. Ahmed ('the deceased') being CS (OS) 572/1990 titled Mohd. Iqbal
& Ors. v. Mst. Najma & Ors. The main dispute in the suit was as to
whether or not Mst. Najma was the wife of Late Mohd. Ahmed, and whether
CM (M) 1600/2019 & 1604/2019 Page 1 of 10
her children are also entitled to a share in the property of the deceased. In
