Haroobhai M. Mehta vs State Of Gujarat And Ors. on 25 January, 1966
In this connection, we may mention the decision in Digvijaysinhji Hamirsinhji v. H.K. Oza and Anr. VI G.L.R. 632 a case under the Preventive Detention Act (IV of 1950)-wherein this Court has taken the view at page 637 that since the satisfaction is that of the appropriate authority and not of the Court, it must follow that the Court will not enter into the question whether the materials placed before the authority upon which its satisfaction is founded are true or false.
