Even though, I am of the view that the respondent no.2 cannot be permitted to take the plea that since, it does not perceive the petitioner‟s acquittal to be honourable, there is no obligation on the respondent to reinstate him despite his acquittal, I have examined the order dated 01.04.2019, to consider the respondents‟ plea that the petitioner‟s acquittal was not honourable. Having perused the said decision, I am constrained to note that the respondents‟ plea that the petitioner‟s acquittal was not honourable, is clearly misplaced.
