Yet another Division Bench of this Court in Rajesh Vs. the State, reported in 2012 2 LW [Crl] 689, after making reliance on Suyambukkani's case and many other subsequent cases, has upheld the sustained provocation as one of the Exceptions to Section 300 of the Indian Penal Code and held that the act of the accused would fall within the ambit of First Exception to Section 300 of the Indian Penal Code.
