Bantu vs State Of U.P on 23 July, 2008
In Bantu v. State of U.P. (2008) 11 SCC 113, the
accused had, after raping a six-year-old girl, tried to
conceal his crime by inserting a stick in her vagina
which ultimately resulted in causing her death. The
Court noted that the depraved acts of the accused
only deserved a death sentence.
