In another case "State of Haryana Vs. Raja Ram
AIR 1973 SC 879, Supreme Court held the object of Section
361 IPC that it seems as much to protect the minor children
from being seduced for improper parties as to protect the rights
and privileges of the guardian's having the lawful charge or
custody of their minor wards. The graveman of this offence lies
in the taking or enticing of a minor under the ages specified in
this Section out of keeping of the lawful guardian's without the
consent of such guardian. Thus the word "takes" or "enticed
any minor...........out of keeping" are significant.
