In view of the above judgment of the Supreme Court in
the matter of P. Suseela (supra) and the Judgment of
Division bench of this court noted above the contention
which has been advanced by counsel for petitioners that
petitioners should be allowed to appear in the
examination without qualifying NET/SLET/SET test though
they have not obtained Ph.D. In terms of the UGC
Regulations 2009, cannot be accepted.
Hence the writ petition is found to be devoid of any merit
which is accordingly dismissed.
