In the case of K. Ravi Kumar vs. State of Karnataka reported in
(2015) 2 SCC 638 the allegation of assault by knife had not been
established by medical evidence and in view of the evidence that the
victim was set on fire in course of quarrel the Apex Court held the
husband guilty for commission of offence punishable under Section 304 of
the Indian Penal Code.

Similarly in the case of Devendra Nath Srivastava vs. State of U.P.

offence under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.
