It is also the submission of the learned Counsel for the appellant/accused that since there are very many inconsistencies and improbabilities in the prosecution case projected, the trial Court ought to have awarded the benefit of doubt. However, the said submission is liable to be rejected for the reason that the evidence should be judged and analysed on the basis of quality and it is also relevant to extract hereunder paragraph 23 of the decision in State of Punjab v. Jagir Singh reported in (1974) 3 Supreme Court Cases 277:
