P. Veerappa vs M.A. Mohammed Amanulla on 4 December, 1995
16.The proposition is further stated in V. Veerappa Vs. M.A.
Mohd. Amanulaha, AIR 1996 SC 2917 that where a sale
agreement came to an end due to non compliance of the terms
of the agreement by the tenant, pre-existing rights of transferee
as tenant stand revived. Merely because he had entered into an
agreement his tenancy rights cannot be said to have merged
with rights of an agreement holder as such ejectment
proceedings against such transferee would lie.
