Similarly, pertaining to a trial by
a Security Force Court under the BSF Act, a Division Bench of
this Court held in the decision reported as 2000 (V) AD (Delhi)
937 UOI & Anr. vs. O.P.Bishnoi that the High Court‟s power of
judicial review under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is
restricted to find out whether there has been an infraction of a
mandatory provision or the procedure causing gross
miscarriage and as long as there is some evidence to sustain
the findings of the Security Force Court, sufficiency or
otherwise of the evidence cannot be gone into by the Writ
Court. The only exception was a case of total lack of evidence.
