Evidently, the present case is a case of serious injury and not of permanent disablement incapacitating the appellant to follow the same vocation or other vocations, however, considering the settled criteria and heads under which claim in case of serious injury would be allowed, the law has been clearly stated in Raj Kumar (supra) as well as in Jagdish vs. Mohan and ors. reported in (2018) 4 SCC 571.
