Accordingly, "the view of the trial Judge as to where credibility lies in entitled to great weight" (See Veeraswami v. Narayya, AIR 1949 PC 32). However, the appellate Court may interfere with a finding of fact if the trial Court is shown to have overlooked any material feature in the evidence of a witness or if the balance of probabilities as to the credibility of the witness is inclined against the opinion of the trial Court.
