Even if the notification commencing the election process has
not been published under Section 13-A of the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911,
but since the elections are imminent, we refuse to entertain the present writ
petition at this stage for the reasons recorded in CWP No. 6933 of 2012 titled
as Lakhbir Singh Sehmee Vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on
25.04.2012.
