The interim protection sought for is till their securitization
application pending before the DRT, Jabalpur is not heard and decided
on merits. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner
has filed the instant writ petition since the DRT Jabalpur as of now is
not functional on account of the office of the Presiding Officer lying
vacant for quite sometime now and has also approached this Court in
the light of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of
"Madhya Pradesh State Bar Council v. Union of India & others".
