In view of the above, it is contended that the appellant/OP No.1
herein cannot be held liable for the act of Merchant i.e.
Respondent No.2, who has inadvertently, entered Rs.35/- in the
column of 'Selling Price' instead of quantity and entered
Rs.52,000/- in the place of quantity instead of 'Selling Price'.
Learned counsel for the appellant relied upon the case reported
as "Harnam Singh and Ors. Vs. Smt. Purbi Devi and Ors",
