So far as authority Lattu Mahto & Anr's case (supra) is
concerned that case relates to offence under Sections 302 and 149 IPC and
it has been held that the evidence not put to the accused under Section 313

Cr.P.C. may not be read into. The said authority seems to have been relied
upon in connection with the report of the Forensic Science Laboratory.
However, in the absence of the said report, the conviction can be
maintained. So, the appellants cannot derive benefit of the said authority.
