44. The present case is clearly covered by the law
laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Bangalore
Development Authority's case (supra). Therefore all
the judgments relied upon by the learned counsel for
the respondent regarding the rate of interest, different

slabs of compensation or claiming refund of the
interest amount or seeking interest on the amount paid
needs not be discussed in view of the law laid down by
the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the aforesaid
